Roberto Alonso Trillo, PhD/DMA: is a Hong Kong–based artist, researcher, and theorist whose work engages the aesthetic and political dimensions of machine learning, with particular attention to infrastructure, performance, and human–AI interfaces. Embedded within academia while also leading two small, research-driven ventures, he investigates AI theory, speculative design, and automation as central problems of contemporary cultural production. Within the group, Roberto provides conceptual leadership, shaping research priorities and structuring interdisciplinary collaboration.
